The protagonist, a newspaper maker, continues to personally produce and distribute newspapers throughout the village today. However, not a single house accepts the newspaper; instead, they harm him. Despite having his body mutilated, he delivers the newspaper to the very last house (person), only to be left with nothing but his head.
